We heard it on the public holiday Monday morning. The not unfamiliar sound of a truck tyre blowing as it passed the front of our family property in the South East. We heard it blow and start to shred then a sudden silence. Something was very wrong. The truck had stopped way too quickly. We started running. It was an expensive day for one good Aussie owner driver. A steer tyre had blown and his Semi crashed into thick roadside scrub. Escaping with barely a scratch was a blessing but he was a long way from home and his rig was going nowhere. A little luck was on his side this day.
